APPLICATION FNG-LABEL 2027
The application period for the FNG-Labels 2027 started on 3 March 2026. Applications can be submitted until 9 October 2026 at the latest.
Who can apply?
Financial products (in particular investment funds) and wealth management universes with sustainability characteristics that are authorized for distribution in Germany, Austria, Switzerland or Liechtenstein, or for which authorization has been applied for with the competent supervisory authority, are eligible to apply, provided that the applicable access requirements are met.

PRE-SCREENING
Are you unsure whether your product meets the requirements or which label is the better fit? The pre-screening gives you an initial assessment before the actual application. Among other things, it reviews the sustainability-related objective as well as the exclusions and controversies in the portfolio. The pre-screening does not replace the full assessment and does not establish any entitlement to a label.
Scope and costs are governed by the Rules of Procedure.

HOW THE APPLICATION WORKS
The application is fully digital via the online tool. It guides you step by step through the questionnaire and shows you the status of your application at any time. Here is how to proceed:

Register
Create an account in the online tool and complete your profile in full. We cannot process incomplete profiles.

Request an offer
Request an offer for all the products you would like to apply for.

Complete the questionnaire
Answer the questionnaire step by step and upload documents, e.g. the portfolio template. It contains the minimum requirements (“mandatory”) and, optionally, the grading model (“optional”).

Review and feedback
We review your information, ask questions where anything is unclear and may request further documents in order to assess conformity with the certification requirements.

Conference call
For applications including the grading model, a conference call can be booked. In it, we clarify open points and you can exchange views directly with us.

Certification decision
You receive your final assessment report with the certification decision. If the certification decision is positive, your products are included in the register of awarded products and published.
Note: As soon as all submitted products have passed the minimum requirements, no further products can be booked for technical reasons. You should therefore book all desired products right at the start.

FEES
Processing fees are charged for the review and assessment work. The amount, discounts and payment terms are governed by the Rules of Procedure. The fees are due regardless of the outcome of the assessment and are non-refundable.
