The holistic methodology is based on clearly defined minimum standards that not only promote transparency and traceability but also require central minimum exclusion criteria. This new label recognizes products that pursue a clearly defined transition strategy. Both labels are based on a uniform foundation of various binding minimum standards and a comprehensive level model with up to three stars, which enables a differentiated assessment. Economy with Regard to Environmental Objectives 3 to 6,\u201d<\/em> funded by the BMUKN, AIR is working together with the University of Hamburg to develop a scientifically sound methodology for an impact label for financial products\u00a0\u2013 with a particular focus on environmental and climate impacts as defined by the EU Taxonomy.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d21f07a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d21f07a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The aim is to create a robust foundation for a Europe-wide impact label. The project focuses on:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Conceptual foundations<\/strong> of the impact measurement of financial products<\/li><li><strong>Proposals for new product categories<\/strong>, especially for impact-oriented products within the framework of the SFDR review<\/li><li><strong>Practice-oriented criteria development<\/strong> to ensure feasibility<\/li><li><strong>Empirical pilot studies<\/strong> to test the criteria on specific financial products<\/li><li><strong>Expert workshops<\/strong> with diverse stakeholder groups to ensure quality and political relevance<\/li><\/ul><p>AIR contributes its expertise in assessing sustainable funds (e.g., the FNG-Label) and its research on impact investments. As a subcontractor, it is responsible for key aspects of the methodological development and piloting.
